The trimming and finishing departments at Akro-Plastics
and New Berlin Plastics have documents for each product that
contain all the information necessary for completing a part consistently
each time.
The document at left contains all the information for
what is needed to complete this task. It lists hand tools, cutters,
jigs, holding fixtures, and any other miscellaneous tools required. At
the bottom of the sheet, it tells step by step how the part should be
done, from cleaning parting lines, to how the part should be put in
the fixture, to how the jigs are to be used.

The document at left shows the rotomold machine operators
how a part is to be installed into a cooling fixture. Akro-Plastics
and New Berlin Plastics incorporates cooling fixtures with
many parts where it is critical to hold sizes, and/or shape.
Our finishing department can also add spinwelds and
decals to your finished part. If needed, we will pressure test your
parts with air or water to check for leaks.
